Mindelo Property

The port town of Mindelo in the northern part of the Sao Vicente Island in Cape Verde is the official seat of the Nossa Senhora da Luz parish and the island’s municipality. Mindelo has a population of 70,000 people or more and happens to be the second largest city of this Island Country after Praia. Interestingly enough, Mindelo is the home to 96% of the entire population of the island. Nestled amongst mountains that are barren Mindelo has the smallish Vigia Mountain in the west, Monte Cara in the south, Morro Branco in the northwest and another mountain in the east. The Ribeira Juliao River crosses the town as well. The Porto Grande is a deep-water port and connects to Mindelo Bay, a submerged volcanic crater.
